GENTLE JAPANESE ACUPUNCTURE
The Crane is symbol of longevity, health and fortune.
About
Japanese Acupuncture Gold Coast offers a calm, unhurried approach to health and wellbeing, rooted in the traditions of Japanese acupuncture, with a focus on gentle techniques and individualized care.
Practising from Haynes Acupuncture in Bundall on the Gold Coast, each session begins with a thorough consultation to understand your individual needs — because no two people, and no two treatments, are the same.
Japanese acupuncture uses finer needles and a lighter touch than many other styles, making it particularly well-suited to those new to acupuncture or with sensitivity to needling.
"The crane lives a thousand years — a timeless symbol of health, grace, and longevity."

鶴は千年
"The crane lives a thousand years" — an ancient Japanese proverb celebrating longevity, health, and the enduring power of nature to heal.
Practitioner
Registered Acupuncturist · AHPRA · Gold Coast
I’ve been practising acupuncture for over ten years and hold a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Acupuncture, graduating with Distinction. My passion for this profound medicine continues to grow through ongoing study and exploration.
I’m dedicated to helping people feel their best—physically, mentally, and emotionally—through gentle, personalised care that supports balance and wellbeing. My earlier work in social work and disability care taught me the value of empathy and human connection, which deeply informs my practice.
My own journey with acupuncture began more than 35 years ago, when I experienced its remarkable benefits for chronic health issues. Outside the clinic, I love bushwalking, reading, playing chess, and photographing the beautiful birdlife around the Gold Coast.
